Most "resume builder" tools are templating engines: you type in your experience, and it formats it nicely. HUBCV's resume engine works backwards from that — it starts with your verified activity across four modules (job history, academics, online training, and social/community activity), scores each module, and only then generates the document.

The scoring isn't evenly weighted, and that's deliberate. Real job management experience counts far more than a certificate, which counts more than a MOOC, which counts more than a hackathon Slack channel. That hierarchy — job management, academics, online training, social activity — comes directly from the dynamic resume-generation method behind the platform.

The result is a skill score that behaves the way a hiring manager's intuition already does: an internship at a real company moves the needle more than a weekend project, but the weekend project still counts, especially early in your journey when you don't have internships yet.

Once every module has a score, the resume is generated by selecting and ordering the highest-signal items for the role you're targeting — which is why the same profile produces a different-looking resume for a research assistantship versus a software engineering internship.
